Note "notebook" no laptop. N. optical drive, not Core 2 Duo, but the new ULV Core 2solo rocks! Does what it says and then some. I improved my best by adding more than 2 GB of RAM for $ 26. Upgrading RAM took about 50 seconds, piece of cake!
