I jumped on the trend of buying a Netbook 9 "Dell Mini. I did not expect to replace my $ 2000 laptop, and I need something to serve as a backup of workstations, and something I could carry around times (travel, etc.) when I did not want to worry about lugging around more than my first car cost.

If you're looking netbook that is small and lightweight, the Acer Aspire AS1410-8414 is the right choice. This is a netbook with steroids. I have to wait for Windows 7 a free upgrade CD to keep. I actually repartitioned and installed Ubuntu 9.04, when I review this. Ubuntu 9.04 supports all the hardware (microphone, webcam, etc.), and all I have to do is turn on the IDE drive in the BIOS. Ubuntu is amazing, it takes about 2 minutes to start and stop. I also use a tool for managing the CPU to the maximum processor speed, and flies. (Trying to save even slow down the processor)

This is a must upgrade for those who have a white MacBook.

* The battery lasts about 6 hours
* LED backlighting provides extremely sharp images.
* The integrated speakers and subwoofer ensure a sound with more body.
* Thinner than most laptops, I think that less than one centimeter.
* DDR3 RAM
* NVIDIA
* Illuminated Keyboard
* This laptop works like a charm with Microsoft Windows 7
