I teach in an online university , I needed a fast computer, and this laptop is so fast. Windows 7 is great too. I got it for 725$ from Amazon and I think it is worth the price. This notebook has proven to be a very good purchase. This is 2 I bought a laptop in recent months. One for my son and one for my daughter. Both love the fact that it has small size, low weight, yet it is as small as a netbook.
But as other reviewers have noted, notebook slugish feel out of the box until the Aero is disabled and uninstalled all the crapware.

Latest version of Apple's MacBook Pro case combines a smoother, more GB of RAM, an SD slot, and to extend battery life, all with a reduced price. The 15-inch LED backlit display (available on previous models, as well) is simply superb, with a simple graphical and easy-on-blue eyes.
